NONA SUMMER SUMMER CAMP 2020
FAQs

The Nona “HOTSPOT”

WHAT MAKES NONA SOCCER CAMP ONE OF THE MOST PREFERRED SOCCER CAMPS IN CENTRAL FLORIDA?

Soccer brings the kids together, but it’s more than soccer!  Not only are the kids learning and growing in the game but the friendships formed and strengthened in this Orlando summer camp is like no other.  It’s common for kids to come back week after week because each week builds on the previous one in terms of soccer development, and they want to be with their friends!  The other unique aspect of this top Central Florida Summer Camp is the great coaching staff.  This team is full-time in the summer and fully dedicated to making each child’s summer both memorable and successful in their soccer growth.

Nona Soccer Academy is truly “year-round” soccer, and soccer summer camp gives the kids another way to play the game in the off season, outside of their own teams.  Each summer we have many kids coming from different parts of Central Florida join us at camp including soccer youth from Kissimmee, Conway, Oviedo and downtown Orlando. This is a huge compliment to the youth summer program knowing they are driving from across town.

WHERE IS SUMMER CAMP?

Your Favorite SUMMER CAMP is traditionally ran out of Innovation Middle School, and it is perfect for us. However, due to COVID-19, we still do not have clearance to rent the school, but due the extremely high demand we were able to find a solution under the CDC guidelines and we must move on!

The Lake Nona HOTSPOT, Nona Summer Camp, will be
located this summer at HIGH SOCCER ARENA.

The entire facility will be exclusively for Nona Soccer. For those of you that are not familiar with High Soccer Arena, this is a state-of-the-art convenient located, indoor soccer facility with multiple fields. The facility is close to Lake Nona out off of Boggy Creek (near the airport).

This is always a great opportunity for Nona Players to bring their friends from school!  Youth soccer players from other clubs enjoy camp with us for some fun over the summer.

IS SUMMER CAMP JUST FOR RECREATIONAL PLAYERS?

Summer Camp is programed for all development levels.  Because of our young camper age, we can divide the kids into both age groups and level – Recreational & Competitive.  They will rotate to the different areas in camp in their specified group.  They will also be assigned one head coach for the week.

For both Recreational and Competitive Players Summer Camp is centered around FUN!  The Recreational groups will focus on a lot of fundamentals and creative games for the kids to learn the game. The kids will stay in their small groups for most of their day.

The Competitive Players will get this opportunity to amp up their soccer skills and try new ones!  There will be skills and position specific practices along with many challenges and games to ensure they are more than ready for the fall competitive season.  These groups will be small allowing for an ample amount of critique and development.  This is also a time for players to try new positions and have a lot of fun being creative with the ball and enjoy many pick-up soccer games.

ARE THEIR OTHER ACTIVITIES AT CAMP IN ADDITION TO SOCCER?
